Hello, I am interested in private online lessons once per week to prepare for the B2 exam. I have already taken the B1 language exam and have started studying on my own for the B2 level.
Hello,
thank you for your message and your interest in online Czech lessons.
That’s great that you’ve already passed the B1 exam! Congratulations!
And I would like to accompany you in preparing for the B2 exam. We can work on all parts of the exam — writing, reading, listening, and speaking — in a way that matches your current level and needs, helping you reach the B2 level as soon as possible.
If you’d like, we can start with a short free introductory online meeting, where we’ll discuss the best plan for your preparation.
I suggest Wednesday, November 12, or Thursday, November 13, at 2:00 PM for this meeting. If neither of these times works for you, please feel free to propose a few alternative dates that suit you better.
Best regards, Jitka Štecová
Hello! Do you offer prep courses for the B1 citizenship exam? Thanks!
Hello Serafina,
Thank you for your message and your interest in preparing for the B1 Czech language exam.
I don’t offer group preparation courses for the B1 exam.
I prepare students individually, as everyone needs a slightly different focus and amount of time.
Some students need just 4 lessons, while others prefer to book up to 10.
The price for an individual 60-minute lesson is 630 CZK online or 700 CZK in person.
You can find more information here:
Online lessons:
https://www.mozaika.eu/czech-courses-online/
Offline lessons:
https://www.mozaika.eu/one-to-one-czech-for-foreigners-courses/
If you are interested, we can schedule a free, short, and non-binding online meeting to discuss your goals, current level, and the most suitable way to prepare.
I recommend that you take a look at the material I use to prepare students for the oral part of the B1 exam:
If you decide to purchase it and later book an individual lesson, the price of the materials will be deducted from your lesson fee.
Please let me know if you’d like to arrange the free online meeting or if you have any other questions.
Wishing you lots of success with your B1 exam preparation—whatever path you choose!
Best regards,
Jitka Štecová

Hi! What courses availables do you have at the moment? I want to learn Czech from scratch. My boyfriend is Czech and we’ve live in Czechia for like 5 months but couldn’t learn much. I’d like to know which are your options and prices. Also, I need 100% online, I’m not in Czec republic but the time is the same.
Hi Aldana,
thank you for your message. It’s a pity you couldn’t learn much so far, but great that you want to start now!
I’m just about to begin two in-person beginner courses in Prague:
Saturday course: October 4 – December 6, from 10:00 to 13:15, 40 teaching units at 6,500 CZK
An intensive one week course: October 6 – 10, from 9:00 to 12:15, 20 teaching units at 3,250
If you have time and interest in these dates, I can ask the other three participants if they would be open to an online version as well.
Otherwise, I can offer you individual online lessons. The first online session is free, so you can try it out and then decide if you’d like to continue.
60 minutes of individual lessons are at 600 CZK.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
Best regards,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Juan Carlos, and I am reaching out to inquire about the intensive Czech language courses that your institution offers.
I am interested in enrolling in a program that spans 6 to 8 weeks and meets either 2 or 3 times a week. Specifically, I am looking for classes that are scheduled either in the morning around 8 am or 7 am, or in the afternoon around 5 pm or 7 pm. Additionally, I prefer the location to be in Prague center.
Could you please provide me with information regarding the available options for such courses? I would like to know about the class schedules, including the frequency and timings, as well as the duration of the program. Furthermore, I am keen to understand the cost associated with each program. Preferably to start in May.
Your prompt response with these details would be greatly appreciated, as it will assist me in making an informed decision regarding my language learning journey.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Warm regards,
Juan Carlos
Dear Juan Carlos,
Thank you for your interest in a Czech language.
What is your Czech level?
Are you looking for a group course?
Considering your availability I could offer you only individual lessons.
Please let me know if it is an option for you.
Best regards,
Jitka Štecová
Czech Course Manager and Czech Teacher
P.S.: I will e-mail you.
Good day, is it possible that your course hour will be flexible? Like in a case of an employed person, we work in shifting hour and the possibility to study on morning and evening will be better.
Hello, I am really sorry, but unfortunately it is not possible.
It would be possible if there were at least two more students interested in this type of the schedule.
The only option that comes to my mind is to try out individual lessons, which can be scheduled according to your availability.
If you have any other remarks or suggestions, please do let me know.
Jitka Š.
